  • Abstract
The energy barrier for thermally driven magnetization reversal in a two section nanowire is calculated, based on a mechanism for domain wall nucleation at the interface between sections. It is shown that this energy barrier is lower than that for end nucleation, and can be determined by choice of material for each section
