Abstract
This paper documents a hardware and software implementation to monitor, capture and store encrypted WiFi communication data. The implementation detailed can perform this entirely passively using only cheap commodity hardware and freely available software. It is hoped that this will be of use to other researchers and practitioners wishing to explore activity inference without breaking encryption, or supplement the (somewhat scarce) existing body of data available from this particular external perspective.
