Abstract :
A novel algorithm is presented for atomic decomposition (AD)-based parameter estimation of multiple signals that are partially overlapped in the time domain. By using a subspace orthogonal matching pursuit technique, the proposed algorithm can overcome resolution problems and obtain higher parameter estimation accuracy than other commonly employed AD algorithms, making it quite suitable for the detection and estimation of multiple signals.
