Dr. Charles Maerfeld (M´82-SM´87-F´91) is the 31st recipient of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society Achievement Award. The award was presented during ceremonies at the 2009 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium in Rome, Italy, September 21st, 2009.
