Abstract
The advantages and related costs of using irregular tetrahedra for the finite element analysis (FEA) of electromagnetic systems are investigated. The modeling flexibility and efficiency of purely localized h-refinements for tetrahedra are illustrated and evaluated. Practical implementation and application details for irregular tetrahedra FEA modules are presented and discussed
