Chairman´s corner

This is one of the most important times of the year for you as an IEEE student member — the time of the year when your Branch is selecting its officers. Since you want to obtain maximum benefit from your membership, and the officers that you choose will significantly affect the success of your Branch, it is critical that you select them carefully. Too many Branches make the mistake of selecting officers in a very haphazard way. Quite often, in fact, someone who isn´t even in attendance at the election meeting is elected as chairperson of the organization.
