Abstract :
The author considers the evaluation of transmission of compressed video, for surveillance monitoring in the operation of light rail transport systems, over the emerging specification for the GSM high speed circuit switched data service (HSCSD), which can combine (dynamically) up to eight standard data channels as a single high speed channel
