Abstract :
A new general construction for the complementary sets of polyphase and ternary sequences is presented. The new construction produces the so-called supercomplementary sets of sequences, with some special additional properties. An important property of these sequences is the ambiguity function complementary property. As a special case, it is shown that the cyclic versions of some famous pulse compression codes, such as Frank, P3 and P4 codes, form the super complementary set of sequences.
