Based on your review (July SSCS Newsletter), I just finished Microchip by Zygmont. On the whole I found it interesting, if the prose a little purple. For example, “Kilby applied power with an effortless gesture. His gaze moved with insouciant ease to the oscilloscope. The screen´s green phosphor animated: a bright unbroken squiggle moved in comfortable symmetry, upward and downward and upward and downward with cosmic electrical shift, (p. 21)”
