Abstract :
The International Microwave Symposium and the Exhibit Microwave Week, which include the RFIC Symposium, will take place this year 6–8 June in Fort Worth, Texas. The three-day symposium is the largest conference specifically focused on wireless IC design and technology. The RFIC Symposium regularly brings in over 750 attendees with its workshops, panel sessions, and technical sessions covering all aspects of RFIC development. Technical session topics include: • Cellular system ICs and architectures: GSM, EDGE, TDMA, CDMA, 3G, WCDMA, GPS • Wireless data system ICs and architectures: Bluetooth, WLAN, 802.11×, MMDS, UWB • Optical system ICs and architectures: OC-48, OC-192, OC-768, gigabit transceivers • Small-signal circuits: LNAs, mixers, VGAs, active filters, modulators • Large-signal circuits: power amplifiers, drivers, advanced TX circuits • Frequency generation circuits: VCOs, PLLs, synthesizers • Device technology: IC technologies, packaging, modules, RF test and characterization • RFIC modeling and CAD: Device and behavioral modeling, parasitic extraction, circuit synthesis
