Abstract :
The authors present an optical phase control technique which does not use a dithering signal, and is suitable for pulsed interferometric systems. Implemented in a Q-switched mode-locked degenerate optical parametric amplifier, the control system is able to lock the optical intensity gain to within 1.7% error against random phase drift
