Abstract :
The surface resistance of rods of bulk YBCO was measured in the frequency range 400 MHz to 4 GHz using a coaxial resonator at a temperature of 77 K. The surface resistance was not proportional to f2, as predicted by the two-fluid model, but was closer to f1.2.
