Abstract :
This publication enters its fifth year with a new name — which I believe will more accurately reflect its contents — and a new editor. The name TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIETY was chosen by a vote of CSIT at its November 20, 1976 meeting, as was the new editor. On behalf of Dr. Balabanian, I thank the readers who took the time and effort to respond to our name-the-newsletter contest for their many imaginative ideas.
