  • Abstract
A numerical approach based on the vector finite element method is described for the analysis of most general bi-anisotropic waveguides. In this approach hybrid edge/nodal triangular elements are used, and therefore, the boundary condition on each element side is automatically satisfied. To confirm the validity and usefulness of the present formulation, numerical examples are shown for metal ferrite-chiral circular waveguides and ferrite-chiral circular waveguides
