Abstract :
This paper presents a new method that permits the determination of power transformer core losses under nonsinusoidal excitation. The method requires the measurement data of a transformer no-load test. This method is applied to predicting power transformer core losses under nonsinusoidal conditions with an adequate accuracy from test results obtained with a real nonsinusoidal voltage waveform
