Abstract :
A Student Professional Awareness Conference (S-PAC, pronounced “es-pak”) is a one-day conference which addresses professional topics affecting an engineer´s career. An S-PAC is organized and run by students all the way. As a speaker at a dozen or so S-PAC´s over the last two years, I have developed an admiration for the students who plan and hold successful S-PAC´s and an appreciation of the value of S-PAC´s as professional development vehicles for students.
