Abstract :
Many graduate schools require or recommend that applicants submit scores from the Graduate Record Examinations (GREs). These tests provide a comparative measure of aptitudes and abilities considered relevant to an individual´s potential for success in graduate-level study. The exams also provide a common basis for comparing the qualifications of applicants from different schools with different standards.
