Abstract :
A novel technique is presented for electronically tuning a dielectric resonator operating in its TE01δ mode resonant frequency. A tuning bandwidth of >1.6%, can be achieved while maintaining a high unloaded Q-factor. This technique is not only simple to implement but also lends itself to an inexpensive manufacturing process
