Abstract :
Annual and cumulated two year statistics of rainfall rate, sky noise temperature and attenuation are presented, derived from two years radiometric measurements at 11.6 GHz in New Zealand. Total attenuation statistics are well predicted by both the ITU-R method and the PARC model when a rain height of ~2.3 km is used. The ITU-R´s `K´ zone rainfall rate profile accurately represents the two year cumulative rain statistics
