  • Abstract
    The support given to the US electronics industry by the two leading US electronics trade associations, the Electronics Industries Association (EIA) and the American Electronics Association (AEA), is discussed. The history of the organizations is briefly sketched, and their distinguishing features are described. Major EIA ana AEA accomplishments during the last ten years are highlighted. Their involvement in international meetings and programs is examined.<>
