Abstract :
A 2×10 Gbit/s wavelength-division multiplexed soliton laser source based on the spectral filtering of an externally phase modulated CW laser is presented. Use of this method ensures that adjacent channels are initially delayed by half the bit period which is necessary to reduce initial collisions in long distance WDM soliton transmission
