Abstract :
The authors discuss the paper "Artificial neural network approach to single-ended fault locator for transmission lines" (see ibid., vol.15, no.1, p.370-5, 2000) on the possible application of using neural network techniques in the single-ended fault location of power transmission lines. The original authors\´ comments on this discussion are also included.
