Abstract
An efficient algorithm is presented for the analysis of frequency selective surfaces consisting of a periodic array of arbitrarily shaped apertures in a thin conductive screen. The analysis is performed using the method of moments (MoM) with entire domain basis functions and exploiting the peculiarity of the boundary integral-resonant mode expansion (BI-RME) method in the calculation of the MoM matrices. Two examples demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.
