Abstract :
A novel and new application of four-wave mixing (FWM) in a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) is proposed. All-optical simultaneous code and wavelength conversion of 10 Gbit/s binary phase shift keying (BPSK) pulse sequence codes has been experimentally demonstrated for the first time.
