Abstract :
Parametric and subspace approaches to eigenstructure assignment are integrated to provide a simple algorithm for eigenstructure assignment by state feedback. The algorithm provides naturally for the case of common open- and closed-loop right characteristic vectors. The integrated approach enables the eigenstructure assignable with multiple eigenvalues to be readily identified
