Abstract
Time-series analysis is the basis for characterization and modeling of an observed system. The aim of this analysis is the prediction of the short-term evolution of a dynamic system and the development of a model that captures features of its long-term behavior. Here, the authors present a a method of time-series analysis that uses wavelet transforms to analyze heart rhythm, chest volume, and blood oxygen saturation data from a patient suffering from sleep apnea
