Abstract :
A novel three-axis beam waveguide that has been developed for millimeter-wave satellite link applications is described. A breadboard model has been fabricated and RF measurements at 60 GHz have been performed. The breadboard model was equipped with adjustable mirrors and feeds to simulate component misalignments due to fabrication errors and the space environment. The effects of misalignments on system performance have been measured and results are reported and comparisons with theory are made
