Abstract :
The dynamic division of traffic control sub-area is a difficulty of the network traffic adaptive coordinated control system. This paper presents a short-term traffic state prediction method according to the phase and signal cycle, and then designs the method of adjacent intersections similarity based on the adjacent junction´s maximum-minimum static sub-area division and the short-term state prediction, and provides a traffic control sub-area dynamic division method according to the adjacent junction similarity. Finally, through the example analysis, the paper examines the dynamic division of traffic control sub-area. The results show that the presented dynamic division is a reasonable network partitioning method to make the control sub-area more meets with the traffic needs.
