Abstract :
Squealing, fading, and extraneous noise are among the hazards of using public address systems. Most such problems can be avoided by (1) keeping the mechanical and electrical arrangements simple, (2) testing and adjusting the PA system before a presentation, and (3) maintaining a constant physical attitude toward the microphone.
