Abstract :
The improvement of the capacity of bus stop can boost the development of the public transport system. In this paper, a new capacity computing model of bus stop upstream the approach at signalized intersection is proposed. Focusing on the variable key factors impacting the capacity, related parameters calibration model is rebuild. The new computing model is expected to an improvement to the traditional TCRP 2003 model. We can calculate the capacity of bus stops at upstream signalized intersection by some regular parameters without any fussy correction factors. And the results show that the model has good accuracy.
