            Abstract :
The cross-polarization characteristics of a probe-fed hemispherical dielectric resonator antenna are studied theoretically. The mode-matching method was used to find the exact antenna Green´s functions rigorously. The effects of the dielectric constant, probe length, and probe displacement on the cross-polarization level are examined
