Abstract :
It is developed a microwave industrial installation for high-intensity thermal grain processing at frequency 915 MHz. The approach to creation of an optimum design of waveguide working chamber of microwave installation operating in the traveling wave mode is offered. Research and development work to automate the installation are carried out. Experimental research of installation is executed at microwave power of 25 kW. The parameters of high-intensity heat treatment of grain and grain products, which have shown promising application of the developed microwave installation in the agriculture and food industry, are defined.
