Abstract :
This issue of IEEE NANO technology Magazine starts with the article “Cancer Therapy Through Nanomedicine,” by Hinkal et al. of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which discusses the possibility of using nanomedicine to cure cancer. According to the article, cancer is currently the top killer of persons younger than 85 years. The researchers from the NIH believe that nanotechnology will provide the platforms from which a revolution in cancer therapy is possible.
