Abstract :
Kinematic buffering mode is intended to maintain operational condition of the frequency convertor - asynchronous motor system (FC-AM) at the short-term depressions of the supplying voltage. It is called so due to the fact that the direction of an active flux is changed into a reverse one at the voltage depression in the system. As a result, energy of the rotating masses (kinematic energy) is transformed into the electric one by the motor which is supplied through the convertor into the DC-unit and maintains charge (voltage) of the condenser at the constant level. At this, there is no energy exchange between the supplying network and the DC-unit.
