Abstract :
A boundary value method is proposed for the investigation of a ring loaded and double layer dielectric loaded annular slot array antenna (ASAA). The method is confirmed numerically by comparing its results with IE3D and multi-body electromagnetic scattering (MBES) software packages. Using the proposed method, a parametric study is performed and the performance of both loading types is investigated with a view to enhancing the gain and improving the radiation patterns
