Abstract :
Several different approaches for analyzing the coefficient sensitivity of digital networks containing real coefficients are known. In this brief, one of these approaches-the analysis based on the calculation of partial derivatives with respect to the coefficients-is extended to digital networks containing complex coefficients. The main mathematical tool needed for this extension-the so-called Wirtinger Calculus-is presented. By using this mathematical tool, the coefficient sensitivity of a fairly large class of lossless digital one-ports is calculated, the results being rather compact
