  • Abstract
In the above paper U. Jakobus and F. M. Landstorfer (see ibid., vol.43, p.1123-9, Oct. 1995) state that their approach is opposed to the physical theory of diffraction (PTD), which, according to them, "involves fictitious electric and magnetic line currents along the edges." It is shown by P. Ufimtsev that the cited statement is not true and the current concept is the same as in PTD.
