In this essay, CBI´s former and current archivists reflect on the history and evolution of the CBI archives. Bruce H. Bruernmer, CBI´s first professional archivist, served in that capacity from 1984 to 1997. Elisabeth Kaplan was appointed CBI archivist in July 1999.
