Abstract :
The network throughput is analysed for the channel load sense multiple access with overload detection (CLSMA/OD) protocol in the spread spectrum packet radio networks. With threshold approximation for the channel capacity, the network is modelled as a discrete-time semi-Markov process. Various results are given which show the effects of the network parameters on the throughput.
