Throughput analysis of channel load sense multiple access with overload detection protocol in spread spectrum packet radio networks

The network throughput is analysed for the channel load sense multiple access with overload detection (CLSMA/OD) protocol in the spread spectrum packet radio networks. With threshold approximation for the channel capacity, the network is modelled as a discrete-time semi-Markov process. Various results are given which show the effects of the network parameters on the throughput.
