Abstract :
80 Gbit/s (20 Gbit/s×4) optical time division multiplexing is demonstrated using an optical time division multiplexer based on a hybrid integrated planar lightwave circuit. Each channel signal is independently modulated by four-wave mixing in semiconductor optical amplifiers without microwave crosstalk between channels
