Abstract :
A quantitative statistical analysis of the mean-squared error (MSE) performance of the reduced rank least squares (RRLS) algorithm for improving conventional least-square estimates of the truncated pulse response of a communication channel is presented. Experimental results confirm the validity of the approximations that are used in the MSE computations.
