Abstract
Broadband synchronization of two coupled spin torque nano-oscillators is reported. The frequency detuning is controlled by the spin current densities, the coupling is introduced via magnetic fields generated by the oscillators, and the coupling strength corresponds to their distance. The fields are computed in a simplified form based on a dipole approximation. The synchronization is observed up to tenfold difference in natural frequencies of the oscillators when the coupling strength remains moderately small.
