Abstract
The impedance data presented by Cai and Li (see ibid., vol.136, no.3, p.191-4, 1989) for asymmetric line structures, common in TEM cell design, are confirmed using data from numerical procedures for the inversion of the Schwarz-Christoffel formula. Some aspects of the impedance calculation methods are discussed, in particular those regarding the definition of auxiliary magnetic walls in the analysed geometries.
