Abstract
Non-return-to-zero and Manchester baseband modulation schemes are evaluated for use in wireless infrared communication systems. Closed form expressions providing an estimate of the error probability due to baseline wander and Gaussian noise are developed. A comparison between these results and those from system simulations are also reported
