Abstract :
The paper presents a simple method for estimation of radiative heat transfer from a rectangular array of plate fins to a nonreflecting ambient. The closed-form analytical solution obtained in the paper yields very accurate results when compared with the more general approach described in the literature. The computation results are also summarized in graphical and tabular form
