James B. Rawlings [People in Control]

In this issue of IEEE Control Systems Magazine, we speak with James B. Rawlings who is the Paul A. Elfers and W. Harmon Ray Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before becoming a full professor at Wisconsin, he was a faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin. He has coauthored two books and more than 100 journal papers and is a Fellow of the IEEE.
