Abstract :
Large databases will be required to provide terminal, personal, and service mobility in personal communications services (PCS) networks. The intelligent network (IN) will be governed by the need to rapidly access user data to provide services in real time. Mobility will also increase the need for security, mobility service creation, and network operation, administration, management, and provisioning (OAM&P) to provide services in support of mobility. This article focuses on the personal mobility aspects of PCS and addresses subscriber database management
