Abstract :
This paper describes an Ultra-Wideband (UWB) platform, its capabilities and advantages relative to undergraduate education. To date, UWB has demonstrated its value in commercial applications and as a research tool. This paper proposes that it is also an excellent tool for teaching RF propagation, radar, communications, and range measurement.
