Abstract :
In this paper, we discuss the operation of a hybrid green power generation system which would act as a self-sustainable power generation technique for powering of green data centers. This system will comprise of two green technologies to generate the power, viz. solar photovoltaic farm and hybrid fuel cell system comprising of gas turbine and fuel cell. The key highlight of this work is to model the perfect fuel cell technology with widely available fuel suitable for such application. Compressed Natural Gas is been preferred for fueling the fuel cell. The issue of carbon emission is addressed by the use of CO2 sequestration technique to make the whole system a green power generator. The scheme for efficient power conditioning is also modeled.
