Abstract
People involved in leadership roles face the daily challenge of effective communication with their employees. Whenever employees or leaders are questioned about the qualities successful leaders must have, communication invariably sits at the top of the list. The present paper discusses the skills involved in interpersonal communications, including listening to understand, conveying ideas, verbal problem solving, and adapting to different communication styles
